I have not had a chance to say how much we appreciated the recent bonus...as we have appreciated all the others. The bonus money is always nice because we set it aside for a fun vacation, something special that we want or for a neat family item. Therefore, at our home the bonus is very special. However, more than the money (I) appreciate (my husband) being happy and more relaxed at TAC than he ever was before and him having great friends as his coworkers and as his bosses. The holiday parties, baseball games, and cookouts are very family oriented and I like that it makes us part of his work "family". You all should be very proud that you have created a very pleasant and enjoyable place to work.

I just wanted to let you know that I had a great time yesterday at the Cowboy’s game and I wanted to say thank you for inviting me along. It was nice just getting to be with the TAC team while being away from the kids. Again thanks from the bottom of my heart.

I had a flat tire this morning so I called (my husband) to get help but I failed to remember he had a customer in town visiting. However, someone from TAC was kind and concerned enough to come help me. Just so you know, I appreciate that you guys are more than just employers but more like family.

I just want to thank you so much for this weekend. We are so lucky as a company group to share the camaraderie we have with one another. You're a great host and you always make sure that everyone is having a great time and has everything they need to enjoy the event.
To quote Mencius: "The great man is he who does not lose his child heart. He does not think beforehand that his words be sincere, nor that his acts shall be resolute; he simply abides in the right."
We are so fortunate to be a part of the TAC family.

The open book management philosophy that you have at TAC is amazing. I recently met with four of your employees and they are extremely motivated by your bonus program and they are very knowledgeable about finances. I was impressed.

I just wanted to congratulate you on the progress you have made on the GGOB journey. I had the opportunity to visit with group that is here for the seminar last night at dinner. I had forgotten my name tag and was the last one to sit so they had no idea who I was. They already had a discussion going on the involvement of the work force and how they felt so much like a part of a team. However; I was greatly impressed with the level of understanding and participation they showed toward the Great Game of Business. They talked of their bonus plan on earnings per employee citing the actual rate as well as the rate needed to reach the bonus. I felt as if I was sitting at a table with a bunch of accountants discussing last month’s financial results! Their involvement and excitement is contagious. Congratulations to you and your staff and thanks to the gentlemen for a great discussion at dinner last night.

...I know that I am saying this for a lot of people here at TAC. When I think about the bonuses that I have gotten this year I feel a huge sense of gratitude to all of the owners at TAC...from my perspective it is like each and every owner writing a check out of their own checkbooks and giving it to us all. I am sure that you are aware of this, but that is very appreciated by most if not all. Thank you and all of the owners for giving back to us!!

I just wanted to say the Financial Literacy class was great! It has definitely come a long way from the original class. I enjoyed how you intertwined the Yo-Yo financials with the scoreboard. That was missing originally and it definitely added a lot to show how Yo-Yo-Co related to what we’re doing here at TAC.
It was pretty neat to turn around and see our mechanics and engineers and others sitting there working through it, asking questions, and all that.

I just wanted to say thanks for sending me to the GGOB in Springfield. It gave me a better understanding of what the GGOB is and where it came from and the impact it has on so many different companies. It was very interesting to actually be there and see in person what had been on the film we watched back when we were deciding to do this.
I also enjoyed going to the Mega Volt facility and watching their huddle. (Though I think ours is better!) I think it will be good to get as many people to go as possible. I think it will help people be more energetic about it and also help them understand what the overall thing is about. Thanks again!

I was watching a show on channel 13 this Sunday that had an interview with two CEO’s from major corporations that are still making money with the economy struggling like it is. One was Valero. The other was Southwest Airlines. Both discussed how they keep their companies striving and making money, among other things. But the major thing that caught my attention was that BOTH CEO’s expressed great appreciation for their employee’s and how neither company has EVER had a lay-off, but simply re-shuffle an employee within the company if needed to do so. Their largest expense is their employee’s, and that’s what they cared about the most. Both CEO’s take time to “mingle” with employee’s, learning faces and names to go with it, but in a personal type of way. Both CEO’s make sure that ALL EMPLOYEE’s are treated fairly, and specifically make sure that none of the management or other leadership talks down to a lower “blue collar” employee. Valero’s CEO said that he fired 3 Executives for doing just that, and said he would not tolerate it. They talked about having a “Family” atmosphere within the company and how if the employee’s feel that way, the company strives that way and that’s the strength behind both Corporations and the major reason why both are striving like they are.
After hearing all that, I started to think of TAC and how all of us here (at least I hope), see YOU as a CEO like these two guys. I enjoy working here, and still to this day, believe that this is the BEST place I have ever worked. You have done everything that these guys have and deserve the credit for making TAC what it is and what it will be. Not to seem sappy, but hopefully one day, given the opportunity and when I think I’m ready, I hope that I could be the CEO of a TAC type company that carry’s on the same tradition and values that you have bestowed to us. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to come here. And thanks for being a FRIEND and not just a Boss. Thank you and God bless you. Keep up the momentum and good work. A team is only as strong as its leader. And you’ve made all of us leaders.
